Match report 09/05/2011

Last game of the season and we had just the eleven to face the potential champions. We started the brighter and went ahead with a headed goal from Ben. We were then caught on the break as Barnstaple made it level at the break. The second half saw us to deep and we succumbed to the pressure and went 2-1 down. The spirit of the side came through and Ben forced in the second to put the sides level again. After that we pressed for the winner but left ourselves bare at the back and eventually conceded twice. A disappointing end to what on the whole was a good season. Well done to all the players.
